My name is Jo Washington and I come to Shere Tennis Club with over 30 years experience of teaching tennis. I am an LTA Level 4 Coach.I played to a performance level, reaching a world ranking in the top 200 at Under 18 level. Thereafter I played Senior County level for Hampshire for many years whilst teaching tennis full time.I have spent time on court with all types of players from 2 year olds to performance juniors through to adults of all ages and abilities.

I love my job and always aim to deliver sessions appropriate to the needs of those present on court with me. Whether you are looking for a few fun hours on court individually or in groups, or are serious about improving your match play, I will aim to make your sessions suit your needs.

Hi! I am Matthew Hunt,

I coach individuals and groups of all ages, kids and adults. 

I have enjoyed coaching locally at Horsley tennis club and also at a performance academy club in Quito, Ecuador where I coached some of the country’s top junior players.

I live in Shere and am happy to do ad hoc coaching.
